Seasoned luxury fashion executive with a unique blend of retail and technology knowledge, who has driven aggressive growth in both online and traditional retail companies during major industry disruptions.
As EVP Sales at luxury consignment site The RealReal, Ann built and led a 160+ sales team that drove sales growth from $52M to $355M in three years. She created strategic alliances with Neiman Marcus and Saks that increased customer acquisition and enhanced brand credibility.
Ann spent 24 years at Neiman Marcus, the last three as SVP, Managing Director of Last Call, where she launched the e-commerce platform that grew to over 20% of total sales in the first year. She also developed and launched a new store
concept. The results of her last year were 15% year over year growth and a 45% improvement in EBITDA.
Previously at Neiman Marcus, Ann was SVP Director of Stores, with P&L responsibility for multiple stores each with sales of $50M to $200M. She supported store efforts around customer experience and operational excellence, and she opened four new stores and oversaw several major remodels.
Earlier she was VP DMM of Designer Sportswear and Men’s Sportswear where she led merchant teams in developing and buying luxury product both domestically and internationally.
She joined Neiman Marcus as VP General Manager of the Palo Alto Store, and then ran the San Francisco store where she doubled volume in six years.
In all of her roles Ann has built strong teams and mentored new leaders. She has overseen/collaborated across departments with marketing, technology, data analytics and finance.
At both The RealReal and Neiman Marcus, she has interfaced with outside consultants on corporate strategic initiatives.
Ann has spoken at the Morgan Stanley Women’s Leadership Conference and is involved in community cultural non-profits in both San Francisco and Sonoma where she lives with her husband.
