Hana Ben-Shabat is a Partner and a board member at A.T. Kearney, the global management consulting firm. She is an industry expert who advises C-level executives on issues of corporate strategy, organization and operations improvement. Her areas of expertise include specialty retail, luxury and beauty. In addition, she leads the A.T. Kearney Global Consumer Institute, a network of consultants that publishes research on emerging consumer trends.
Known for her industry insight, she is a sought-after speaker and business commentator and is frequently quoted in The Wall Street Journal, Financial Times, The New York Times and Women’s Wear Daily. She was named as one of the Top 25 Consultants by Consulting magazine in 2010.
Before joining A.T. Kearney in 1998, Hana held several sales and marketing positions with Israeli technology companies in the field of digital imaging. Prior to that she served as an officer in the Israeli army for two years.
Hana is a graduate of the Partnership for New York City’s David Rockefeller Fellowship and serves on the board of directors of Leake and Watts, a non-profit organization that provides education and social services to children, adults and families in the NYC area.
In 2015, she acted as a knowledge partner for the Department of Small Businesses (SBS) in support of their extensive research on the state of women entrepreneurship in NYC as part of the city’s WE NYC initiative.
She holds a B.A. degree in Political Science (Major) and Psychology from Tel Aviv University, an MBA from Rotterdam School of Management and a Diploma in Corporate Finance from London Business School.
