Kimberly Grabel is a retail marketer, with over 20 years of experience at two of North America's top luxury firms, Saks Fifth Avenue in New York and Holt Renfrew in Canada.
As Senior Vice President of Marketing & Customer Experience, Kimberly's work has been rooted in customer centricity - creating tools such as single view data platforms and customer segmentation that ensure marketing messaging reflects a customer's omnichannel behavior. She is also passionate about defining and developing a brand's essence, both to ensure consistency at every touchpoint and to serve as a source of inspiration for new channels of growth, editorial content and social media that engages the customer while being true to the brand.
While retail's recent focus has been on the operational fundamentals of omnichannel commerce, she believes that there is much more opportunity to leverage what's best about the online experience in-store while creating a more immersive shopping experience online. Kimberly is excited about the work of the New York Fashion Tech Lab in helping retailers get to the future, faster.
She graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from the University of Pittsburgh and holds an MBA in International Management from the Thunderbird School of Global Management.
