Marty Nealon is Managing Director of Golden Seeds, an investment firm dedicated to delivering above market returns through the empowerment of women entrepreneurs. In this role she works with early stage entrepreneurs and businesses.
Marty has over 25 years of experience in the retail business, holding senior positions in department stores, specialty stores, TV and the Internet. She served as President of HSN, the TV, Internet and catalog business. Marty successfully turned around the unprofitable teen specialty store chain, Afterthoughts which was then acquired by the key competitor, Claire's Stores. She was named President of the combined chain. She served as president of Kenneth Cole retail stores and also held senior positions at Macy's and Bloomingdales.
Marty is on the advisory board of the Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa. She is a graduate of Trinity College in Washington, D.C.
