Melinda is a senior retail executive and brand builder, having worked for world-class fashion brands, such as Coach, Barneys, J.Crew, Gap and Express over a tenure of 20 years. She specializes in omnichannel merchandising & buying, brand strategy, and retail management, and has a proven track record in overseeing P&L’s, ranging from $500M to $2B in revenues.

Most recently, Melinda was at Coach as Senior Vice President of Merchandising for North America, where she was part of a leadership team that returned the business to growth after multiple consecutive quarters of decline. She has held merchandising roles in China, Japan and Europe, forging new territory and raising the ranking of the brand in these international markets for Coach.

She began her career at Barneys New York, an experience that formed her passion to be at the intersection of fashion and commerce. As an innovative thinker and creative builder of product concepts and businesses – she has led product development, ecommerce, wholesale and retail teams on a global scale.

Melinda is passionate about the dynamic retail environment, and the disruptive activity needed to insure the confluence of brand, product and customer experiences.

Melinda received a BA from Wellesley College and a MBA from the Kellogg School of Management.
