MICHELLE SIMMONS
Michelle Simmons currently invests in companies that have a focus on the consumer. She is the Founding Member of Runway Capital, LP and the Managing Member of its Investment Manager, Simmons Ventures, LLC. Michelle served as an Advisor to Style Sage, a big data analytics company that focuses on the fashion industry, from the pre-revenue stage until it was acquired. She currently sits on the Board of PSYKHE AI, a machine learning and psychology-powered recommendation-as-a-service platform that enables retailers to personalize the customer journey. She began her career working in retail. Michelle has worked for both smaller privately owned companies as well as publicly traded growth companies and she has the unique perspective of understanding the differing demands and pressures presented by both. After business school, Michelle moved to Wall Street where she has applied her knowledge about the industry to her investments. Michelle earned her B.S. From the University of California, Berkeley and her M.B.A. from the University of Chicago. She currently lives in New York City.
