DEBRA LANGLEY
Debra has extensive experience in fashion, retail, and technology. She is a Partner at CAPTIS, a UK-based advisory and investment platform focused on fashion, sport, commerce and consumer engagement. Previously, she was a Partner at Lyra Ventures, an investor in B2B solutions transforming the fashion and retail sectors.
As an advisor, Debra works with early-stage and established enterprises, particularly tech ventures redefining fashion and popular culture. She serves on the Board of WRAP, a US non-profit advancing social compliance in apparel manufacturing, and on the Advisory Board of DesignSingapore Council, Singapore’s national agency for design. She is also a member of the NRF Innovation Advisory Committee and the NRF APAC Advisory Board.
Debra has led and scaled businesses of various sizes. She founded an omnichannel retail venture showcasing contemporary Asian fashion brands, served as President of DKNY JEANS International overseeing all non-US markets, and was President APAC for Borderlinx, a global e-commerce enabler. Earlier in her career, she co-founded an online health and wellness platform with philanthropist Michael Milken and held a business development role with Hearst Corporation’s international division.
