KEN NATORI
Ken Natori is President of Natori, an independent fashion brand founded in 1977. During his tenure, Ken has built and launched Natori.com, transforming the company from a wholesale-only model to what is now an omni-channel, digitally innovative business; evolved Natori from a sleepwear and intimates brand to an East meets West lifestyle concept across all major categories; and developed and grew a number of moderate labels, which have allowed the company to cater to different price points and distribution channels while maintaining the prestige of the company’s namesake designer brands.
Natori has nimbly adjusted its business model with the times, and in 2019 was named as one of the 100 most innovative e-retail companies in the world. In addition to his experience at Natori, Ken has extensive and diverse board experience. He was elected Chairman of his Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO) Manhattan Chapter, providing strategic guidance and governance over a group of 100 Manhattan based CEO’s and Presidents. He also has served for more than a decade on the board of the Underfashion Club, the Intimate Apparel industry’s largest non-profit. Prior to Natori, Ken worked as a TV and Radio reporter for Bloomberg and in international equities at Lehman Brothers. Ken holds an MBA from Stanford University’s Graduate School of Business and a B.A from Amherst College. He lives in New York with his wife and two children.
