KIRAT ANAND
Kirat Anand is a retail entrepreneur, he was the founder and CEO of the fashion brand, KAS New York, which surpassed $100 million in DTR and DTC sales, and scaled to 200+ global employees with offices in US, India and China. KAS New York has been worn by celebrities such as the Obamas at the 1st Inauguration and Caitlyn Jenner at her 1st public appearance; featured in notable publication including WWD, Refinery29, Entrepreneur Magazine, People, Elle, Vogue, Glamour, New York Times; and stocked in all major department stores, high-end online platforms and luxury resorts.
Prior to being an entrepreneur, Kirat was an investment banker at JPMorgan specializing in technology, media and telecommunications. Today he serves on the advisory council for NYU Stern School of Business Luxury & Fashion MBA Program, Sir Richard Branson’s Virgin’s Innovation Lab, NYU Stern Venture Fellows, W. R. Berkley Innovation Labs and half a dozen venture backed tech startups. He also sits on the board of a Marici, a NGO focused on eradicating child sex trafficking and human rights. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from NYU Stern School of Business with a focus in Finance and Information Systems. When he is not working, he enjoys surfing and creating culinary experiences.
