MICHAEL PAULSON
Michael Paulson is an accomplished product executive and advisor with deep expertise in retail technology, consumer insights, ecommerce marketplaces, and data-driven innovation. He has built and scaled teams across product, engineering, UX, and data, accelerating growth for leading consumer-focused brands.
At Bazaarvoice, he managed a $200M+ SaaS portfolio that served thousands of global brands and retailers; launched innovative consumer intent data strategies, and helped lead the company through a successful acquisition. As Chief Product Officer at Jungle Scout, Michael transformed the company from a niche ecommerce tool into a global market intelligence platform, significantly expanding its enterprise business to major brands, agencies, and investors worldwide.
Earlier in his career, Michael developed marketplace and predictive shopping solutions at Amazon, eBay and Microsoft. He was also instrumental in the growth and acquisition of Decide.com, a predictive analytics startup acquired by eBay. His foundational retail experience at Gap and Toys R Us provides him with strong insights into consumer behavior and retail operations.
Michael holds an MBA from Northwestern’s Kellogg School of Management and a BA from Yale University.
