Michael Paulson is an accomplished product executive and advisor with deep expertise in retail‬ technology, consumer insights, ecommerce marketplaces, and data-driven innovation. He has‬ built and scaled teams across product, engineering, UX, and data, accelerating growth for‬ leading consumer-focused brands.‬

At Bazaarvoice, he managed a $200M+ SaaS portfolio that served thousands of global brands‬ and retailers; launched innovative consumer intent data strategies, and helped lead the‬ company through a successful acquisition. As Chief Product Officer at Jungle Scout, Michael‬ transformed the company from a niche ecommerce tool into a global market intelligence‬ platform, significantly expanding its enterprise business to major brands, agencies, and investors worldwide.‬

Earlier in his career, Michael developed marketplace and predictive shopping solutions at‬ Amazon, eBay and Microsoft. He was also instrumental in the growth and acquisition of‬ Decide.com, a predictive analytics startup acquired by eBay. His foundational retail experience‬ at Gap and Toys R Us provides him with strong insights into consumer behavior and retail‬ operations.‬

Michael holds an MBA from Northwestern’s Kellogg School of Management and a BA from Yale‬ University.‬
