SUZANNE SILVERSTEIN
Suzanne Silverstein is a seasoned executive with 25+ years of experience in retail and wholesale. Suzanne is currently the CEO of Silver Jeans Co. and former Group President at NYC Alliance. Prior to that was with the JS Group as President since September 2021. JS Group has 7 brands in the company portfolio, including Et Ochs, ML Monique Lhuillier, Kay Unger, Halston, Amur, Theia and JS Collections. Prior to that Suzanne was the President of 7 for All Mankind premium denim.
She began her career in retail and held multiple merchant roles at Saks Fifth Avenue, including jewelry and footwear, and finally as the Vice-President/DMM with responsibility for contemporary ready-to-wear. In her role as VP/DMM, she managed a $250M business, and twice she and her team were honored with the Saks Fifth Avenue Associate First Diamond award. This was the highest level of award given to a Saks corporate team. Criteria for the award included financial performance, excellence in merchandising and leadership.
Suzanne left Saks Fifth Avenue to form her own consultancy, Silverstein Consulting, and worked with a variety of luxury and contemporary brands. She helped clients drive wholesale share of market and ecommerce revenue. Under her consulting umbrella, she led the bi-coastal brand team and helped dramatically grow the digital native start-up Hautelook, prior to its sale to Nordstrom.
A former client orchestrated Suzanne’s transition to the branded business as she joined 7 for All Mankind as Vice-President of US Wholesale. In addition to leading the sales organization, Suzanne was the thought leader and driving force for critical launches including the Luxe Performance franchise and the JEN7 brand. She was designated “Top Talent” by 7 for All Mankind executive leadership and attended VF Leadership Institute, a think tank and leadership training for 7FAM’s parent VF Corporation top talent.
In 2014 Suzanne became the President of Parker, a women’s contemporary sportswear brand. In her time there, Suzanne restructured the business to bring ecommerce in-house and launched both their evening collection, Parker Black, and a casual category, Parker Weekend. Suzanne re-joined the 7 for All Mankind team as President in June 2019 and left in December 2020.
Suzanne has a deep understanding of brand, culture and people. She builds teams that are loyal and engaged. She is very cognizant of what being a senior leader means, setting an example every day, inspiring team members to want to win. Suzanne believes that culture breeds success.
